Our hardware is timeless
Designed not to suffer the passage of time, which is why we guarantee it for life.
The choice to have our own line of hardware arises from the need to have a product that is functional, simple, and that keeps its characteristics unchanged over the years. Hence the decision of a line entirely built in stainless steel — the screws included — with a simple and clean design, essential but refined.
We make every single component of our hardware: this is why we can really say that our product is totally made in Italy.
Hoops
For the Massima series we have two types of hoops. The first is a cast bronze hoop, 4.5 mm thick, obtained through a turning process and therefore without welding. The hoops are coupled to the lugs by means of stainless steel clips, entirely machined from solid and properly recessed in the hoop so as not to protrude, to avoid interfering with the stick in the event of a rim shot.
The second model is a traditional non-flanged hoop, in satin-finished stainless steel, which works coupled with stainless steel clips. Here too we decided to recess the clips, so as not to create any interference with the action of the stick in a rim shot.
Lugs
Our lugs can be single point or double point, and consist of three elements: conical spacer, support and cylinder. The conical spacer, located at the base of the support, is removable: using the support without the spacer it is possible to replace our hoops with traditional ones.
Throw off
Our throw off system consists of two elements that work diametrically opposite: one allows the immediate release of the snare wire, the other allows you to vary its tension. Thanks to a dedicated ring nut it is possible to select three levels of tensioning of the snare wire, in a quick, simple and effective way.
Screws
The screws could not be outdone: the hoop tensioning screws are in stainless steel, of our production, while for the inside of the shell we have chosen stainless steel screws and blind nuts.
